Goals...

My goals for this time off from teaching.....discover 1 new Web 2.0 tool each day. So far, this is what I've accomplished:
www.diigo.com, www.flickr.com, www.webkinz.com (Maddie got a unicorn from Santa!), www.twitter.com (which I said I would never use but now, I'm addicted...just need to have more people in my "network") and TADA--- my new ipod!!!

It's very overwhelming to master all these new tools so quickly. I feel as though I'm still trying to find a common medium between all of them to help me manage all of this better.

The other piece to this puzzle I'm trying to put together is how these tools can enhance the teaching and learning process. I'm trying to be more "clickable" which is not that difficult if you really put yourself out there!! AND, I'm trying to make all of these new tools personal to me - I'm trying to be selfish (read this post!!) and use them for me first. That's why you will see a mixture of personal and professional reflections, pictures, etc in this blog. I hope to model this learning process for my students.....

On to the next tool (and my sister's birthday party - entertaining again tonight!)
