Finally...getting it together!
Well, my goal for this summer was to get my blog organized and functional. In addition, I planned to post to my blog regularly....based the professional reading I was going to do.....all summer! It's August 10 and I am just finally sitting down to get my thoughts organized. I read other blogs every day and hope to have mine looking as good as Marcie's, Kristen's, Joyce's, etc.
I hope this blog will be a compilation of my thoughts, my students' innovative ideas/reflections, and our collaborative work.
On another note, Marcie tagged me and I just can't let her down! So, here goes:
First, the Rules:
1. Post these rules before you give your facts
2. List 8 random facts about yourself
3. At the end of your post, choose (tag) 8 people and list their names, linking to them
4. Leave a comment on their blog, letting them know they’ve been tagged
8 random things about Megan Fritz:
1. I just made my first batch of peach jam today. Yummie!!!
2. I wrote my dissertation from start to finish including completing my study beginning the week after my daughter was born and ending with a walk across the graduation stage at 6 months pregnant with my son. Phew - those 2 years went quick!!!
3. I play the hand bells, clarinet, french horn, and piano.
4. I dream of living in Cape Cod and managing the 9 cottages - one of which my family owns.
5. Both my husband and I swam the 100 and 200 breaststroke in college (6 years apart).
6. I can knit - have completed several scarves and a capelet.....will finish my poncho while on vacation.
7. Last summer, I assisted my dad in catching a 36 inch striped bass. Yes, I catch the bait, bait my hook, catch the fish, get it into the boat and/or net, and take it off the hook. Then, I carry it up the beach and to the cottage. NO - I don't filet or eat it...such a shame! (That was the day after I caught a blue fish with my bare hands in the surf off the beach.)
8. I love chocolate ice cream....don't mess with it.....straight up chocolate!
I tag: (2 of my students who I know are going to be blogging with their students. Hopefully, this will get them blogging again before school starts!)

Natalie
I'll add more after I think about it for a little bit.
